DAY 5 – Tal to Timang Besi
The trek almost ended today…again. This time it was me who got sick. I thought I was going to have to cash in that expensive rescue insurance and get medevaced back to Pokhara. That’s how sick I felt. We were supposed to camp in Chame but we had to stop short in Timang Besi because I just couldn’t go any further. Don’t know why, but I became very sick to my stomach and spent all evening and all night vomiting. I think I may have been dehydrated; or maybe it was the eggs this morning.

The temperatures again were in the high 80’s and 90’s. Tomorrow we go to a higher elevation and the temps should start to cool down. It poured all evening.
I’m starting to appreciate the rain. It cools things down for awhile.
